Well, in my case, nobody taught me about making my sites. And it’s one year already that I’m into this blogging thing after hearing my friend that she’s earning in blogging while staying at home and taking care of her baby. Upon knowing it, I am shy in asking her how to make a blog, how to start a thing, what is html codes, etc. Instead, I’m just praying VERY hard that I’ll be guided in making my sites and somehow share it to my friends who wants to earn also while staying at home.
Anyway, this friend of mine is now earning more than 10k in just one site and she also joined paid blogging in other paid blogging companies. It’s like she’s earning 3k+ per month. In fact, according to one of our friends here in CO, she’s been supporting her family in the Philippines at least $300-500 per week. Whew! That’s big sister! Well, aside from supporting her mother, she’s also supporting her siblings in their schools most especially those who are studying nursing courses and that’s a bit expensive tuition fees, books and everything. With that, I salute her for being so kind to her family while doing her best to earn in blogging by WRITING SOME ARTICLES for certain products and services and get paid.
She’s my mentor in blogging and I’m so thankful that she mentioned it to me like August of last year, though I figured out how to make my sites by October 2007. Anyway, I first started my blog with bravejournal.com that time but it is so hard to understand and I transferred with blogger.com. And I find blogger.com and the html code as easy to understand (thanks God) and now I am learning more. Then, I go back to bravejournal.com and created my two sites there (I also created bravejournal.com blog sites for my relatives and friends). But all in all, most of my sites are blogger.com until I know how to host my sites with my own hosting account using WORDPRESS Platform. I’m also sharing my hosting with my friends and hosted their sites for free though others will share their blessings to me. With regards to this site, I hosted this one with my other hosting account courtesy of my husband and of course blogger.com platform since earlier this year I don’t have knowledge yet about WP platform. Also, I’m using FTP in publishing this site of mine to my server. Hmmm!
What else! Oh, there is one thing I am going to know - Paying taxes since blogging is a legitimate job. It’s like a freelance writer. And it says that if income in one paid blogging company is $600 or more, a blogger needs to pay her/his taxes. So I need to inquire from one of my friends here how to file taxes since she and my mentor is living closer. In my case right now, I’m earning quite a bit and I saved something for my taxes for I don’t want to be a burden with my husband when it comes to filing my tax.
Well, so much for this blogging, paid blogging sites, and taxes things! I’ve got lots of things to do, so see you later. Chow!
