At work, I usually will have my 15 minutes break inside my car almost every day so that I can drink my ice cold water from my water cooler.
Early tonight, around 6:17pm, I was inside my car when all of a sudden there was one guy who passed by walking and looking so weird. He was like staring and or checking at different cars (including mine) and then looked down on the ground to find some things. He also was picking things and put it inside his pocket. Since he caught my attention, I took 3 photos (first photo 6:18pm and the 2 photos had the time of 6:19pm) of him (wish I took a video instead). He was just so weird looking.
Anyway, pardon me if I judged him with what he was doing but I was phobia already with strange people especially those who will open car doors that don’t belong to them.
I didn’t say that he will open car doors or he was checking cars with opened doors but upon seeing him, I remember the incident that I had BEFORE that there was one weird person who tried to open the front passenger side of my car and my kids were with me. Good thing that time, there was like a hint for me to lock my car even if it was not my thing of doing so. When that person tried to open my car door, I was shocked and my kids asked me why. And I just said to them, ‘I don’t know’. Then, I thank God that my kids and I were safe.
After that incident, whenever I will park, especially when I am inside, I’ll have to see to it to lock my car. That will be my first thing to do upon entering my car – LOCK my CAR DOORS before I’ll put my car keys. Though I can remote start my car but it doesn’t mean it will run without its keys. Another thing is that, whenever I will arrive at my destination, upon parking my vehicle, I’ll have to press the car lock button coz it will automatically open all doors. Lock all doors for safety.
And when I will be out of my car, I’ll have to beep it many times to check that its lock. Though there’s nothing valuable inside my car but the car still has a value. Anyway, am just sharing my life today of how it trigger my phobia with my the incident that I experienced before.
Have you tried this thing? I know you’ve tried this once or many times in your life.
If you hear somebody is talking about you, pay no attention. Give it no energy. It’s a distraction. Instead of getting upset, remember, they don’t talk about ordinary people; they talk about exceptional people. Take it as a compliment. –Joel Osteen Ministries-
I don’t really like iPhone phones as I love android phones in which I can put micro SD card in it. But I don’t have a choice but to buy an iPhone so that I can have an ‘ALL IN ONE’ gadget and that means I can receive calls, play games, texts, read my kindle books, listen to my more than 400 iTunes and more.
Yes, I do have an iPhone CP and that is because I want to have my iTunes synch with my phone as sometimes I am having a hard time carrying my iPad anywhere I’ll go. My other gadget which is my iPod was broken by my daughter with her dropping it on the asphalt and I need to fix it yet.
Another thing is that, with my iPad and iPod, I can’t receive a call, so that’s why I prefer an iPhone coz I can have everything in it. As what I’ve said, I can listen to my music while reading my kindle books, play games, and just do anything and at the same time can receive calls and texts.
But I don’t want to pay high monthly fees with any phone companies. So, I bought a Verizon LOCKED iPhone (used iPhone that’s within my budget) so that I can activate it with tracfone. With tracfone, I can do anything just like the regular line phone but without paying high fees. I just need to save my minutes, my txt messages, and my data for internet browsing.
With my triple minutes I can easily have 600 minutes with my load of $30+ and it will go a long way since my expiry will add up and it will extend every time I will load another airtime. Imagine that if I will save my last airtime load, I will need to reload again until year 2018! See how much money I can save?
Anyway, I just have a big problem with the battery life with my iPhone as it will drain my phone easily. I tried everything, like switching off some of the buttons that needs to be switched off and it ended up I can’t use my phone properly. Then, I’ve decided to do a factory reset and I got the worst result coz I still have my battery drained easily plus I lost all my videos and photos as I forgot to save those in my computer (I got some videos and photos in there that I need to post in my blog in which I took that one in pueblo when my friend and my kids played in the newly opened mini golf – arghhh).
Anyway, I can’t do anything about it so I stopped thinking about my deleted photos and videos. What I did, was that, I just emptied the first page of my CP; I mean I placed all the icons on the 2nd page and the next pages. And it helped. Yes it helped with saving my iPhone battery. But before thinking about it, I bought a battery case charger in Ebay just in case emptying the homepage of my iPhone won’t work. And so right now, I am using this battery case charger just in case I am on mobile. So far, my iPhone is doing okay. Hopefully, in the coming months, I can replace this with a better iPhone as this is one of the old models but what I do love with this aside with synching my iTunes is that I have a 64GB in which I can store quite enough photos and videos.
Before I’ll end up, just in case you want to save with having a cellular phone and you want to try Tracfone, just have a LOCKED VERIZON cellphone and then visit the link – http://tracfonewireless.com/byop/ to check your phone’s compatibility. Then, just follow the steps or might as well call their customer service for assistance.
For your car to work properly, you need to carry out preventative maintenance. Though the maintenance schedules differ, all cars need proper maintenance. This will make your car have a long life. Regular maintenance according to the owner’s manual is not always easy because of the costs it involves, and also because of our many commitments and obligations in life. However, it is possible to maintain your car to a satisfactory level, and here is the list of things you can do to achieve that.
1. Don’t ignore the Check Engine Light
This is easy to overlook because sometimes when it comes on, the car seems to operate as normal. You may then promise yourself to have it checked later. But as you push it further, the car ends up breaking down. When this dashboard light comes on, get your car checked by a mechanic as soon as possible. The longer you take on checking this problem, the higher the costs you will incur to get your car repaired. But the time you spend having the car checked will save you lots of money on repair.
2. Check the tire pressure
Failure to check the pressure of your car tires is a common mistake most people make. This is often because the tires look properly inflated. But looks can be deceiving; the tires could be low on pressure. It may not blow the tires, but it will contribute to poor fuel economy, which translates to higher fuel costs. It is easy to lose pressure in the tires just by going over a pothole. The weather also has an effect on the tire pressure. The tires lose up to 2 lbs of pressure for every 10-degree temperature drop outside. Thus, check your tire pressure regularly because you don’t want a flat tire or poor gas consumption.
3. Don’t ignore the TMPS light
You need to check the tire pressure when the tire Pressure Monitoring System light comes on. This light comes on as a warning when the tire deflates beyond what is considered safe by the manufacturer. So, if this light comes on while you are driving, pull over at a safe place, preferably at a gas station, and verify the tire pressure. And if necessary, add some air to the tires. Sometimes the TMPS sensor may need replacement. If it indicates low pressure when the pressure is sufficient, you need to replace the sensors. Balanced tire pressure will enable an even wear on the tires, and this will give your car long life and good fuel efficiency.
4. Don’t skip an oil change
The engine and motor oil technology has advanced over the past few years. Depending on the manufacturer, you may not be required to change the oil every 3,000 miles. Most of the today’s cars have an average engine oil life of about 7,800 miles. The good news is this equates to less time and money spent on changing the oil. But this does not mean you avoid changing the oil. Every engine needs oil to function properly. Without it, the engine will die. The oil should not be too old. If it is left for too long, the engine will develop nasty sludge and deposits. And instead of lubricating, the oil will destroy the motor. So, change the engine oil regularly.
If you own a BMW Isetta, you need give it proper care by regularly checking the tire pressure and changing the engine oil. And don’t ignore the warning lights such as the Check Engine light and the TPMS light.
“A strong friendship doesn’t need daily conversation; doesn’t always need togetherness. As long as the relationship lives in the heart, true friends will never part.”
And this is true! Even if I am not talking to you or someone that I’ve known with, you are still my ever dearest friends. The secrets that I’ve known will be with me for life. And you can assure that I wouldn’t share it with anybody else.
You will be one of my friends for life!
