Now, this review of USAA is up. It took me a while before writing this as I was too busy at work. I am not compensated on this. I just want to give them some good credits of how good they are in taking care of their clients.
This is my story:
I had a car accident last July 11, 2015 as what I’ve wrote here in my blog article. I filed a claim with USAA Tuesday July 14, 2015 at around 11:51am or so and it took me around 42 minutes and few seconds to speak with Mr. Austin B as he had a recorded conversation with me.
By July 16, 2015, Ms. Teresa called me up and she said to me that there will be a person who will visit me at my place to see my vehicle for estimate. I waited for it and I am grateful that on July 20, 2015 Silvester N. visited me at my place to check my vehicle. I told him that it is different this year than last year as I visited Al Serra Body Shop for the estimate and it took me around 2 months for the repair of my vehicle as I also had a car accident with a USAA insurance holder last year. But this year and I am praying that this will be the last (with God’s protection), this year is quicker. It is just matter of days for me to have some repairs of my car.
Anyway, Mr. Silvester N. estimated my car damages around 4k+ and he said that USAA will send the check to me and so that I can pay it to Al Serra. I thanked him for helping me out. After he gave me a printed copy of the estimate, I immediately called up Al Serra for the repair and the man that I spoke with asked me to visit them by the next day.
So on July 21, 2015 at around 8:19am I arrived in Al Serra Body Shop with my vehicle, left my key and my estimate paper. I spoke with the lady in Al Serra and she said that USAA is one of her favorite insurance companies coz they are big and they are one of the best. I was happy to hear about it but I said to her that I hope this would be my last car accident as I don’t want to have a fear in driving around.
Anyway, going back to USAA, Al Serra, and all, I’ve waited for enterprise rent a car to pick me. And it took me just few minutes in waiting for the free SUV car rental. It’s a Jeep Cherokee. I had it July 21, 2015 until July 29, 2015.
To sum up, I am thankful to God, my Angels, and to all who helped me in fixing my vehicle as quickly as possible. I am so thankful to USAA and its employees for everything. I am also thankful to Al Serra for the good job in fixing my car. And thanks also to Enterprise for the nice SUV and for the free pickup.
I am praying that this would be the last accident that I have had. I am praying for safety every day for myself and for everyone else.

I had an accident around 7:33-7:34pm as per the time of the photos that I took using my phone. Good thing that time, I still had battery and my phone was still working.
The accident occur when I did a left turn Austin Bluff Road and Academy. I didn’t know that the 3rd lane was closed and there were huge cones on it. So, I stop right there and then upon seeing those huge cones. Then all of a sudden there were burgundy or red car that bumped the back of my car. I was shocked and I wasn’t able to move. Then the guy got near my window and he asked me if I was okay and that if possible we will park at the nearby parking lot. I wasn’t sure where to park then. But before moving away from the incident, I took few photos of it.
When I was at the parking a lot, the guy asked me why I stopped in the middle of the road when the light was green. So, I told him that there’s cone and I didn’t want to bump on it. He said it’s my fault coz I should not stop in the middle of the road. When he was accusing me, I was done talking to him. Instead, I called up my husband to know what number to dial in reporting the accident. Then I dialed the phone number of the police and report it. I was just waiting for the officer to come coz I didn’t want to talk to people who will accuse me of something. At the time I was in the state of shock. I just refused to cry because it’s done already.
Upon talking to the operator, I asked her if it’s my fault coz the guy said it’s my fault, and she said that as per Colorado traffic law it is the fault of the one at the back. So, with that, I was just waiting for the police for several minutes coz the operator said they’re quite busy since it’s already night time. Good thing the police officer came and I filled up the form. When he said that I can go and I was already set, it was then I drove home. But I was still blank and still like floating on air.
Right now, I am a bit fine. I hope that everything will be settled with my insurance and the insurance of the other party. Hope my car will be repaired as so soon as possible.

June 17, 2015 my friend and I decided to hike at Manitou Incline Colorado which has over 2k steps. We went there like almost 10am. When we reached we were having a hard time finding a parking lot. We had to turn twice in that area just to wait for a vacant pay parking. When we had our turned, we were one of the happy hikers. We started hiking at around 11:30am and we finished around 3:30pm going the back home.
It was like a torture for us coz we were first timer. There were stairs wherein we have to almost crawl in going up just to reach the top of the trail. First timers in hiking trail like this would be having a hard time and lots of muscle spasms afterwards. But for the regular hikers, it would be easy for them. There was even one man, maybe he was trying to lose weight as he was running back and forth on the trail and it’s just easy for him.
Given the chance, I will hike in this Manitou Incline again but I have to be early like before 6am so that I can find a good parking area and I need to finish early. But I don’t want to go down at the back portion as it was too long in there. If I will have to get down from there, I need to run fast so as to reach the bottom of the mountain quick. With my 2nd hike there, I think I will try to go down on the stairs again. Though it’s a bit steep but I know I can as I am used to walking and hiking the mountains when I was younger. And that would be easy for me.
To sum up, I loved the hike as it is like I am connecting with God’s nature which is away from all of the high technology of the modern world. It was just refreshing! Thanks God it was a successful journey of over 2k miles.

As for me, I recycled my dryer sheets by using it at least twice or thrice. In that way, I can save in buying new boxes of dryer sheets. Sometimes, I’ve got to use it in wiping my leather shoes. I think, it is how you want to use it.

2. Ward off bugs – I do love this one as I didn’t know that it repel mosquitoes. So from now on, I’ll have to put dryer sheets in my pockets and my kids pocket and I’ll see if this is effective.
