Be a wise buyer always
We had our grocery last Sunday since husband is out of sodas. When we’re home, he immediately put some soda bottles inside the fridge. But when he tasted one, he’s complaining that it had different taste. I also tasted one soda and the taste is not like the regular one. Even if the taste’s bad, we still drink it. Until today, when there’s one soda left, I still open and drink it. It’s then I’m questioning why the taste is bad. When I check for the date, it’s dated back October 20, 2008. And I’m shocked with reading the expired date.
How could that store sold sodas that were expired for several months already!?
The lesson is to become a wise buyer. Don’t rely and trust on the store displays. Always check for expiry dates. And when you see expired dates of foods/drinks, call the attention of the customer service so that they can take out those particular goods.
Anyways, next time, when I will go with husband in buying our groceries, I will see to it that dates of the foods/drinks that we will be buying are not expired. It’s always good to be safe mostly when it comes to foods/drinks.
