$5 instead of the $500
Yesterday I received a flyer from a car dealer (near my place) who stated that when the hidden code matches theirs, it means that I won something. So my code matches one of their promos in which I should be receiving $500.
When I got there today, I was like amazed with the salesman that greeted me. I showed him my flyers, and he said that I should match their validation code, but since I did not match, I should receive the preloaded gift card that has $5-100. In which, my flyer doesn’t match the code for the GC but instead for the $500.
I told him that it was like a good sales strategy, but I did not understand the thing that he gave me. Oh well, I don’t care. I find it kind of tricky thing. But next time when I will get same as that, I will have to let a salesperson explain on their promos so that I will not feel being tricked. For now, I’ll have to move on and forget about the event that I have had today. Thanks for the $5 bucks though. More blessings to all of them!
