New upholstered kitchen chair – DIY

Who says you need to spend more when you want to upholster your kitchen chairs? Well, not me. I can do it.

Today, I decided to upholster the kitchen chair since I have enough fabrics to use. It should be for doll clothes sewing so I can sell it in my Etsy store but then I needed to save the foam off the chairs because the original fabric was damaged a long time ago.

I am glad that it turned out to be okay. My kids loved the new fabric on their chairs, and I love mine too – the fluffy pink fabric. I also cleaned the wood with oil soap to make it look a bit okay.

I can do it, and surely you can do it too. All you need is your chosen leather or fabric, scissor for fabric/leather cutting, Philip screws or screwdriver, then heavy duty stapler or we call it gun tacker. With these things, you can upholster on your own.

And now, we are enjoying our new upholstered chairs.
